Coloring Start to Finish with Gary Wood

Adding color to fine woods can be much more creative than simply staining before applying a protective coating. Learn simple shading and glazing steps to add color to top coats with readily available dyes and pigments. All finishes from water base to traditional varnish can be enhanced by adding a little color.We will cover all the most commonly used finishes. Touch up techniques will also be discussed. Bring pencil and paper, and your questions. Practice materials will be provided.
