		Stuart Mortimer Teaches at the Woodworkers Club



During his visit from England, Stuart Mortimer taught a class on spiral turning June 6-8.



	Stuart used files to refine the shape.

A bit of sanding, and a clear finish, and Stuart has created a beautiful goblet.


	"Ham On The Street" filmed at the Woodworkers Club


	George Duran and the crew from the Food Network´s "Ham On The Street" recently filmed a segment at the Woodworkers Club. Three contestants, Rob Schmidt (Woodworkers Club Staff and Carving Instructor), Bill Howe (Woodworkers Club member), and John Matchak (Woodworkers Club owner) were given 10 minutes to carve a 5 pound canned ham into the shape of a pig. Rob´s efforts won the Golden Ham Award. The segment was aired Tuesday, August 1st.
